Problem Solving at it's Best!

Today in Maths we did some problem solving and had to work out how many triangles were within the Pentagon. It was a fun lesson as students took full control and tried to collaborate how many triangles there were. The students worked out the most obvious triangles but they also learnt that there were triangles within triangles. We found out that there were 35 triangles within this pentagon. We managed to find 24 triangles.

The second problem was a match stick problem where we had to move three match sticks to change the direction of the fish. Daniel was the first person to solve this.
