My Lockdown Story By Ching

 My Lockdown Diary

The Day Before Lockdown

On the day before lockdown things were going very well and it was also my Dad’s birthday. We were going out with friends for dinner. We had science experiments and Proclaiming the Word the day before. Things were going so well until we heard the news that we would be going into lockdown Alert Level 4. We were all shocked and in my head I was like nooooooo because I hated lockdown.

Well at school I had such good days. We had so much fun such as doing science experiments and Proclaiming the Word.

Anyways when we got to the dinner place it was so noisy. I had some salmon sushi and delicious beef. I also have some soft shell crab and tempura.

After we had dinner we went to the New World across the road to stock up on a few things like bread and meat before the lockdown. It was very empty at the supermarket, it was like there was nobody there at all beside us and our friends. When we got home we were waiting for our friends to arrive at our home because we were going to have a delicious tiramisu cake that my Mum made for my Dad’s birthday. When my Mum got the cake out of the fridge it looked beautiful to me. Then we all sang happy birthday, took photos and started eating. It was so delicious. After that my friends stayed for a bit longer. They all were chatting and playing games. When it was time for them to go home we said goodbye and closed the door. It was such a happy day for us.

This is my drawing on Mother Mary's assumption as my RE project. I have put a lot of effort to draw this and I have added quite a lot of detail and tried to make it look realistic.

Tangram Puzzles By Ayla

Last week, Miss Paton taught us how to make Tangram Puzzles. Miss Paton said that the Tangram Puzzles are basically like a Chinese geometrical puzzle. It consists of cutting a piece of paper into 7 different shapes, and then arranging them into different shapes. You can make animals like I attempted to here. My results are shown on these pictures here.
