Today was Feast Day at Christ the King School. In Room 1 we started a new Inquiry unit which is the Joy of Living and Giving. Our focus will be on cooking for the rest of the term. Today the class made chocolates. They had to work in teams to melt the chocolate buttons and to pour the melted chocolate into moulds. This process was rather fiddly, but we had so much fun. Some of us created marble themed chocolates. The chocolates will be put into a goody bag at the end of the year alongside some Christmas baking to be shared with family.
