Today it was a special day for trying out our Tello Drone. Before the Athletics Sports Mr Tyrell and myself (Miss Paton) decided to test out our new drone. The Tello App was downloaded onto Miss Paton's phone so that we could control it and take photos. Here are some photos and video taken from today. Learning to use the drone was a bit like driving a car. It required plenty of practise. Mr Tyrell was an expert at controlling it, while Miss Paton... needed a lot more practise. Patrick, Kingston and Michael had a turn at controlling it outside. Today Patrick one of our students took some photos of our Athletics Day using the drone. We can't wait to use the drone next week at our Tabloid Sports Day. We will try and get some up close photos next week. These photos are a wonderful attempt.
