The Mintie Challenge By Melita

We are learning to measure Mintie wrappers and we enjoyed doing it. We had to gather information, graph the results and interpret the data.
Sayonara’s Mintie wrapper was the longest because she has a lot of patience. Her measurement was 102 cm.

Nigel’s Mintie wrapper was the shortest  because he didn’t have patience. He was in a hurry and must have ripped it.  

His measurement was 36 cm.

The different between the longest wrapper and the shortest measured wrapper was 66.2cm.

The average measurement  was 59 cm

• My wrapper was 57.5 cm. My wrapper was slightly below the average measurement
• There was no mode number that appeared more than once, however there were measurements made between 40 & 50cm.  
• Betty and Rhianne measurement was almost the same Betty was 56.5cm and Rhianne was 56cm.
• Twelve students were below the average measurement.
• Ten students were above the average measurement.
