This week has been Maori Language Week. On Fridays we have Hayden come in to teach songs and actions with the students. We are also enjoying the Year 6 students from Room 3 joining us each Friday. It was a great session where the students learnt a new song Purea nei e te hau and performed actions inside and outside the classroom. After perfecting the song, we had an actions and memory game called Pukana. Thank you so much Hayden for giving up your precious time to work in Room 1. We enjoy having you in our class and appreciate your knowledge. We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs and checking out our movie.
