A sneak preview of our Poupou Art

As part of Maori Language Week, Room 1 and the Year 6's from Room 3 made some double sided Poupou. The best thing about double sided artwork is that it can be looked at on both sides of the classroom-inside and outside of the classroom. Poupou are seen on most Marae in New Zealand and is a taonga to be treasured by all of us. The Poupou were made using pastel and lamination pockets. The finished Poupou are stuck onto Room 1's windows. Here are some of the finished Poupou and the artists who made them.
