Diet
Elephants are herbivores that are animals that feeds on plants.
All Elephants eat twigs, bark, leaves and fruit. They eat more than their Appetite.
Elephants weigh upto 12,000 pounds and they drink upto 30 gallons of water everyday.
Family
There are two different types of Elephants which are African Elephants and Asian
Elephants. Male Elephants are called bulls. When the Male Elephants grow older they go
their separate ways and do things by themselves. African Elephants have wrinkly skin but
Indian Elephants don't have as much wrinkly skin as African Elephants do. The Indian Elephants

Endangerment
One hundred Elephants are killed per day, and there is up to one hundred Elephants
that are being slaughtered at least once a day. Indian Elephants population is on the tip
of the cliff for extinction. This is due to people killing the elephants to get their tusks for ivory,
then they trade the ivory to get money. If Elephants tusks break they can grow back,
only if the root of the Elephants tusks isn't damaged. Poaching is more aimed at Male
Asian Elephants because only the male elephants carry tusks that grow big. Poaching and
killing these Elephants is mostly done in Africa.

Conclusion
In my opinion I think Poaching should stop immediately, people should stop and think
before going and killing these animals. People need to think about this before killing
harmless animals/Elephants. We need to admire these beautiful and wonderful animals,
they do no harm to us so why kill them. The elephant population is under threat. In time we
will have no elephants to admire and view if this poaching does not stop.
